Are You Playing Along?

If you haven't stopped by DeeDee's Digis yet to pick up this cute free digi image, what are you waiting for? The first digi challenge of the month includes this cute bulldog digi that you can snag right here. All you have to do is make a card and post it to the links for the challenge and you'll receive next month's digi by email for free! How easy and fun is that? You can get this guy already colored, or color the image yourself - it's your choice! I simply added a leaf brad for an accent, along with a big sentiment from G Studio that suits him perfectly! The dsp is by BoBunny. You still have plenty of time to come play along with our very first challenge, and it will be fun to see what the new free digi will be next month :) I can't wait to see what you create!

On a different note, I have a life-long friend who's battling breast cancer and currently undergoing chemo treatments. She loves Cocoa Mouse, so I've been making her lots of cards with his cute image, as they bring her smiles and happy moments when she receives them. Here he is with a hat I colored pink and added gemstones in the shape of the breast cancer symbol. The papers are from BoBunny, along with chocolate chip, bubblegum pink, and my stash of assorted dsp snippets. The pearls and gems are from Pizzazz Aplenty.

I'm going to enter this into the Snippets Playground #94.

That's going to do it for me for today, but thanks ever so much for stopping by. Wishing you all a great weekend coming up!

Carol

That dog looks as if he is really enjoying Fall...probably waiting for a huge pile of colorful leaves to pile up so he can jump in. Great card!!
The card for your friend is just super and I really like the pink gemstones made into the breast cancer symbol. She is sure to love this card.

These are two very special cards. That bull dog looks cute with his leaves all around him. I'm sorry you have to make this type of card for your friend, but I do know that this adorable Cocoa card will brighten her day as well as her spirits. Enjoy your weekend ahead.

Aw, this is just the cutest dog. Thanks for the link...I just went out to grab him, as our DD loves dogs. You did a fab job with this lil fella and your leaf brad was perfect with his little leaf hat! Thanks for sharing, and maybe if time permits I can play along. Great card to take to the playground too. Be a nice playmate for Parsnip, as they both keep us in line while Miss is away. TFS & Hugs
