Cards in Envy has a Manly Challenge currently going on and I think this card is suitable for a young man who's into rock music, so I'm entering it over there. I used a snippet of turquoise cardstock for the SU! "rock star" image, then fussy cut it. I layered it on a larger star done with a Sizzix star die, and added some faux stitching to make the black star more visible. The strips are snippets of left-over colored card that I just adhered diagonally. The splattered background was done with 2 SU! itty bitty background stamps and some white & silver embossing powder. I also added a few tiny star stickers from Stampendous in keeping with the "star" theme. I almost marked this stamp set for a yard sale, but changed my mind after i finished this card! I think it will make great cards for teens!

Love the spatters and all those bright colors. A PERFECT card for a teen!!! You "rocked" this card!! Glad any of this didn't find it's way to the yard sale.

Perfect Carol! Love the bright stripes and the star is great - as you say - just right for a teenager.
I sorted out the link for you - one tip, although you may already do it, is to tick the 'upload photo from your blog' option rather than trying to put a URL of the image you want in. Just a thought!

Wow! A perfect teen card and you sure don't need to get rid of that stamp. I guess that's why I have such a hard time getting rid of stamps I almost never use...you just don't know when they are going to be the perfect thing for a project.
