Thankful for You


Happy Sunday everyone! Today the Stars and Stripes sketch challenge #190 is based on a card I made for a previous OWH challenge! I am truly honored and flattered and that was such a nice way to start my day :)

Of course I wanted to make another card so I put SNSS's Cocoa mouse to work again with his big orange pumpkin. I added some dark brown card stock and gingham ribbon to the horizontal panels and added a couple jewel tags to the circle sentiment. For the final touch, I added some chocolate pearls, and orange and yellow gemstones for a little sparkle.

Thanks to OWH for featuring my card today and thanks to everyone who stopped by to say hello! I've enjoyed having you for a visit today :)

    Congratulations!!! I loved the featured card the first time I saw it too... so much texture, and great sentiment focus. It's interesting how different this one is from the original - this time your coloring provides the dimension. Thanks for sharing your talents!

    Congrats on being the featured card maker today. I love the card they used as our sample. I would be very hard for me to decide which of your two cards I like better, so I will declare them a tie. You always do such a great job coloring Cocoa images. Love that ribbon and your sentiment and brads. I wonderful card all the way around.

    Cocoa is soooo sweet- your coloring is fabulous as always! Congrats on being the featured card maker for this week's sketch-- were you surprised?!! I love your inspiration card- the layout is one I am sure to use again and again! Love that the focal point can be an image or a sentiment!

    Oh do I love pumpkins. Especially with a cute little mouse peeking out. Liked all the ribbons & embellies on this card, and it is sure to bring a smile to the recipient. TFS
