This is Lawn Fawn's Winter Bunny, and I just love this little guy! I colored him with Copics and added him to a background I made with the herringbone technique. I used left-over snippets of Christmas dsp, and I find it completely relaxing to create one of these. After putting it together, I cut it with a top note die, and then embossed it with a Sizzix snow globe embossing folder to add more texture. A few square gold brads were added, along with some faux stitching around the edges. The narrow ribbon and gold cording are from my stash. Oh yes, and I added a dab of liquid applique to his tiny tail, let it dry, and then hit it with the heat gun to fluff it up :) A cute bunny's got to have a tail, right? :)
I'm also entering this into the Snippets Playground #89 since I used all those leftover strips of dsp.
Wishing you sunny skies, and a great weekend! Thanks for stopping by!
Carol

This is fabulous Carol - a perfect Christmas card. I have the same Lawn Fawn stamp safely here as you know :)
Please do link into the Playground, the gates open again at midnight UK time - if you're first you might like to dry the swings and slide down 'cos it supposed to rain later on this evening :)
Hugs, Di xx
Cute card, Carol!
Lots of texture and pretty paper on the top note die. That bunny image is just the cutest ever. Adorable card!
Another great use of this cute bunny!
Oh, Carol, I love how you pieced together scraps to make that cute herringbone background. I will definitely try that idea sometime.
There's that little guy scooting around on his sled again! Love the herringbone background. Fantastic card.
Have a great weekend.

I am so going to try this...such a gret way to use up the tiny slim scraps of DP!
Your card is lovely and his little tail is so adorable!
This is adorable!!! Love your card! Thanks for playing with us at Lawnscaping!
Thanks for popping back carol...I did finally get some photos downloaded. It was scary cuz I am so computer illiterate and even more so in Windows 8.
Somehow I managed to wipe out the pop up window that allows you to chose which images to import, and I was having to import everything every time and then delete the extras...ugh!
I finally figured out how to get it back and so at last I have some photos to post...You might get sick of my trip befor long though! lol
You are a master at that herringbone technique and I like that quite often you also embossing the herringbone. It give it so much texture and really make it pop. That image is just darling and I love that thin ribbon also. Terrific job, Carol. Enjoy your Sunday.
Hi Carol, your card is super, cute little image, and I just love your herringbone technique too.
