From the Sea

When I think of the sea, my mind always goes to turquoise, aqua and teal shades, so I combined them all (with a bit of navy) to make this card.  I stamped the image and sentiment and die cut the octopus while stamping at my friend's house a few weeks ago, and this was the perfect challenge to use them. I'm notorious for forgetting to write the mfr's name on the back of images, so Mary Anne - help me out when you read this and I'll edit the post :)

ETA: The cute stamp & sentiment is from Darcie's Blow Bubbles set, and the octopus is a die from Memory Box. Thanks M A :)

The background paper is from Graphic 45 Tropical Travelogue, and the water at the bottom was done with a SNSS wave die. I added stickles and glossy accents to the bubbles to make them shine.

Thanks for sharing Mary Anne, these are such fun dies, images, and sentiments :)

And thanks to you for stopping by today - may your day be a great one!

Carol

  3. Carol this card and the two below are fabulous. Love the sentiment on this card and the coloring on the card below are just as lovely as can be. Your doctor's card is just hilarious. I've been painting the trim on the garage today. It really needed sprucing up. Have a great day.
