Catching up with OWH challenges

I haven't felt much like making cards for a while but I decided I'd catch up with the OWH Stars and stamps challenges in spite of my mojo-less mood.
First up is today's sketch challenge #175, and I pulled out some Calypso Coral, Island Indigo, and Pool party cardstocks for my card.

I used a SU! stamp set called "cuter by the inch" and added some mini brads, kaiser pearls, and some matching ribbon. The background was embossed with a Sizzix damask ef.

This is my take on the midweek throwdown which is "transportation." That's a Tim Holtz image that was embossed with black, and cut with a SB labels 18 die. The hexes were hand cut, and I added small stars from matching dsp by DCWV. A few gold brads finished this card.

Lastly, is the ODBD monthly challenge for OWH which is "water." My friend won this stamp set by playing along in a previous ODBD challenge for OWH, and while we were recently stamping together, I stamped this beautiful image and sentiment. I put the card together a while ago and never posted it, but it's perfect for this challenge. I colored it with Copics and added Spica glitter pen accents. I added some tiny hearts done with a SU! owl punch and photographed the card before the glue dried. Oops! I added a couple snippets of ribbon for a little interest.
Now I'm caught up and can take a little breather. I wish you all a great day, and thanks for stopping by!

Carol

I have lots of your cards in my inspiration folder and know that you also inspire LOTS of others! Enjoy your breather, but don't breathe too long, okay? Wait. That doesn't sound right.
