Anniversary Card

I made this anniversary card for my blogging friend (and former DT teamie) Lynn, and since she's already received it, I can safely post it now.

I love playing with my hexagons all the time so I pulled out some blushing bride dsp and made a design with them in the gray embossed panel. I took a white gel pen and drew lines inside the grooves just to add a little pop! I added a rose by Spare Parts and some ribbon from my stash and this one was done!

I hope you & Jim had a great anniversary Lynn!!

Thanks for stopping by!

This is really striking and inspiring, Carol! I am so used to seeing the hexagon (honeycomb) done in yellow tones, so it's a fresh of breath air to see it used in these colors!! Say what again?

Love the look of these two colors together, very classy. The white in the grooves really brings these octagons to a whole new level. The ribbon is just lovely and screams love.
Thanks for sharing with us and I see Lynn & Jim know a beautiful thing when they see one.

You are the queen of hexagons, Carol. I love that pop of white you gave them and the sweet rose finished off the anniversary card beautifully.
