Here's my card for this week's Simon Says Stamp challenge which is "flower power." I made a trio of pansies with a sneak preview of the new SU! in colors and a stamp set called Morning Meadow. After stamping the flowers and letting them dry, I embossed the flowers with versamark ink & dazzling diamonds for a little sparkle, and then embossed the brads the same way. The embossing folders are SU! vine st, and petals a'plenty, and the scalloped border was done with a SU! fancy scallop punch. The colors are strawberry slush, coastal cabana and crisp cantaloupe. I hand-cut the sentiment banner by using a square punch for the ends.
Thanks for spending a little part of your day with me here, it's always nice to have you stop by :)

Super pretty.....you must have an "in" with a SU demo, LOL!!! Just a bright spot on such a dreary day!
Hi, Carol! I have just spent a lovely early afternoon browsing your blog, and admiring all your pretty cards - so many styles, techniques and colors! Love your artwork. Just wanted to let you know. Thanks for sharing your inspiration! hugs, de
Oh nice colors. This card has a refreshing feel to it. Now I want some fruit. I never thought to emboss Dazzling Diamonds. I usually just use it with glue as glitter. I really like the effect so I'll be trying this one real soon.
Fun flowers! Love all the embossing! Great card for showing a sampling of the new In Colors!
Gorgeous card! Those new colors are so pretty. TFS
Very different colors and they look like a sea breeze! Love the flowers and your design Carol. SO very pretty!

Very pretty! I like how those flowers pop out against the dark background!
Oh, this is awesome. I love the color combo you've used. You really put the shine to those flowers and brads...very pretty! Love the embossing folder.
As you can see, I am playing catch up. It's great to see what you've been up to while I was away.
