Hello and welcome to the
OWH Memorial Day Weekend Bloghop! We're making thank-you cards by following an OWH sketch, either for our heroes to send home, or to send to our heroes to thank them for their service. I chose
OWH sketch #171 for my thank-you card, because it's great for using those small scraps of designer paper we all seem to have. I added some embossing for a little interest, along with a punched flower attached with a mini brad.
I made a few more cards too!
Now it's time to go check out the
other blogs in this hop to find lots of inspiration for making your own thank-you cards for our heroes! You might even find some prizes along the way, so make sure to leave some love for the participants :)
Have a safe and happy Memorial Day weekend, and please take time to remember and honor those who serve our country now, or served in the past. We wouldn't be enjoying the freedom we take for granted without their bravery, valor, or sacrifice.
Thanks for stopping by :)
Carol

ReplyDeleteHa ha - I can so relate to the "little scraps of designer paper" thing! I like how on the card you've showcased in your post, that the papers on the left and right are the same pattern but different colors, and how you've balanced the colors by putting the mainly turquoise flower on the opposite side of the turquoise paper. And applause to you for getting a nice handful of cards created with this sketch! :)
