It's About Time

The midweek throwdown over at the OWH Stars and Stamps blog is to create cards that are "about time." I pulled out my Hero Arts OWH stamp set along with some Bo Bunny Timepiece dsp to create this card. I embossed the clock image and sentiment with clear detail ep after stamping in black, and then did some faux stitching around the edges The black vertical panel was embossed with a CB Clockworks ef. The clock hands were stamped with Cherry Cobbler ink and I added a mini red brad in the center. Here are a couple more I made to use up some more of this dsp I've had for quite a while...

The 2 cards above include some Early Espresso and Cherry Cobbler card stock for the vertical panels and mats.

Thanks for dropping by, it's always great to see you :)

Carol, I really thought that you'd gotten a sewing machine and were stitching on cards now!!!!!! WOW! Great "stitching" and beautiful cards. So perfect for OWH!

Super clock cards, Carol. I like how you used that red brad for the center on the hands. Wonderful faux stitching.

Three wonderful cards, Carol! I have been thinking this one out, but have not acted yet. I thought you had stitched, also. It's looks so real!

I love the red and black colors used for both cards. And using red ink for the hands of the clock really make them show so much better. Great job with the faux stitching.

Carol, these are terrific cards. I have trouble stitching whether it's real or faux, but you have it down pat.
I love the red hands and brads against that background paper. This sentiment will be the best one any family member can receive. You will really make someone's day with these. Fabulous job.

The gear embossing folder works perfectly with the paper. All three cards have great papers that work well together. Well done!!

Faux stitching? Seriously? Wow!

And, who doesn't love a card from that Bo Bunny collection -- one of my favorites ever. Still hoarding a little mini stash of that one.

A few more great cards! TFS!!!
