Here's my card for the Merry Monday 52 to use River Rock, always artichoke, and cherry cobbler. The card base is river rock, and I made the circle panel with vanilla, stamping text with river rock ink in the background. I sponged the edges with antique linen ink and matted with cherry cobbler. The holly leaves are really made from artichoke cardstock, and I don't know why, but I coated them with glossy accents to make them shine, and then added dazzling diamonds glitter to tone down the shine! LOL I hate using glitter so I grumbled the whole time I made this card, but I'm sure someone will like the sparkle :) I added some red gemstones from Pizzazz Aplenty in 3 different sizes along with a snippet of ribbon. The sentiment is from SU! More Merry Messages, and the holly leaves were done with a Tim Holtz Sizzix Die.
That's going to be all for me today but thanks so much for stopping by, and I wish you a wonderful day!

Love the shine on that first one, Carol, and that plaid ribbon just makes me smile all over since I LOVE plaid! This is a perfect card for Christmas! The colors make it look so elegant too!
The second is adorable. The little squares and that punch - AND the lime green color are fabulous!
Love both of them.

Oh, I thought those holly leaves were like mine. It was a Sizzix holly and berry branch die. I love these leaves and how you used them for this Christmas card. I used glossy one mine (one before Christmas) and it was really shining, too Maybe I should have glittered it down. LOL
Your punched pieces are so cute on the next one...looks like inchies. I love the little dots inside.
Love both your cards. Really like your take on the freshly made sketches card - and the green worked really well. Thanks for sharing
Both card are wonderful, I love the glittery holly leaves. Thank you for joining us for Merry Monday this week.
Both are great cards, Carol, I know what you mean about glitter. I really like the look of glitter...However, I don't like to wear glitter, or having it end up on my table, on my floors, my clothes, I think you know what I am talking about...smile...
Gloriousity, that MM card is fabulous! Love those glittery leaves!
Wow, stunning MM card Carol, you have created a real beauty here with your sponging and stamping and those holly leaves.

Oh so pretty and I love the gloss and glitter on this first card. I know you hate glitter, but it really makes this card, Carol. That plaid is beautiful. Your second card is stunning with those shades of green against the white. Awaiting more snow tonight. Maybe 5-9 inches.
