Here's the Seize the Birthday Sketch #7 and this week it's feminine cards we're making.
This card is actually a very pale pink in color, but on a cloudy day, it's been impossible to capture the true colors. I kept this one pretty simple, using a SU! ef and a SB labels 10 die, along with a SB petite oval die for the SU! sentiment. The border was a scrap of polka dot dsp that I punched on both sides, and added a strip of matching cardstock to the center. I dotted the flower centers with a black marker, and added a black rhinestone to the sentiment panel.
Playing along with these challenges has enabled me to slowly build a nice stash of birthday cards, so I'm never rushing to make one at the last minute! Gotta love that! Be sure to check out the fabulous DT cards too by clicking on the link above.
Thanks for checking in today, and I wish you a great weekend!

So pretty, Carol. I really like that embossing folder and the centers you created. Of course, I like that polka dotted border.
I don't think I would ever get tired of that pretty embossing folder. Love the black and white!
Very pretty, Carol, I always think black and white cards look so elegant!

Carol, this is so pretty and that pink is so soft and feminine and looks so very pretty with the black. I love those two dies used together for the sentiment. Great job with this challenge.
