This is all about the hearts and love. Since the OWH Valentine's deadline is passed, but I'm in the mood to make Valentines - I just swap out the sentiments to make them "love" cards, and they can be used all year long. I used 2 different Sizzix embossing folders, along with a SSS pinpoint die for the border. The sentiment is from MFP's Black-eyed Susan Encouragement stamp set. As usual, I tweaked the sketch to fit the snippets I had on hand, but I'm sure you're used to my doing that by now :)
And these are the cards I made previously which left me with snippets of paper I wanted to use up....
And now I think it's time to shift from the black, white & red hearts mode, and move on with something new! As much as I enjoy making love cards with this color combination, I'm really needing something different to work on!
That's going to do it for me for this Sunday, so make it a great day whatever you're doing! Enjoy :)
Carol

Look at YOU and all your wonderful cards....oh I am so envious and can NOT wait to have the time to spend on creating again.
I wanted to try and join today's challenge, but I am not too tired and was a bit confused on the Sketch, I guess I'm a bit out of it lately and need to catch up.
Luckily, my Mom is doing really well and I'm SO pleased with how much better she is, especially once we got her out of that dreadful rehab. Add to think that place is well-known throughout the country as being one of the best?? I guess we just ran into the wrong places, people and timing because I would NOT send my worst enemy there and was so upset and disappointed.
Just being home and able to sleep in her bed, shower and sit up in a nice comfy chair, is a plus. Today I did her hair and gave her a mini Pedicure, which she needed. Don is taking great care of her at home, now he seems tired, so it's best they are there and no one has to commute back and forth to Salem. They have all her meds, the VNA has been in and PT will be coming too.
It's amazing to think of what she's been through and she's in NO pain and hasn't had ANY in over a week...! Lots if fatigue, but all normal and improving each day.
I'm so excited to have only one more day before I fly out to see the kids....I leave bright and early Tuesday Am and land in Cali, at about 1:30 their time, and both Bri and Meg have Tues/Wed off, so that's awesome.
The weather is looking great out there for the coming week and I'm so happy to be going out of the cold and to be there to rest and relax. I am bringing lots of craft things to keep me busy, when they work and HOPE to finally have lots of creative time. Not so much there, but when I come home, things should be more back to normal..and I can't WAIT!!
Thanks for the all the sweet words!
You ROCKED today's sketch and I am LOVING all your awesome Valentine cards

Lisa
