I Miss You Like Crazy

Here's my end-of-the-week card for the mid-week throwdown over at the OWH Stars and Stamps blog. The challenge is to make "miss you" cards. I have a few scraps of this MME Moments paper pad left, so I cut them randomly into strips and adhered them in a sun-ray fashion. The sentiment is one I stamped at a friend's house, and didn't write the mfr's name on the back. I just knew it was a perfect sentiment for OWH cards, so I stamped off a few and brought them home. The "brackets" were done with a SU! tab punch and the punched border was done with a SU! fancy scallop punch. Ribbon was from my stash.

Have a fabulous weekend, and thanks so much for stopping by during this busy time of the year!

Carol

Love this card! The colors, that wonderful sentiment, and the way those strips look like a road heading home. I also wanted to thank you for your comment on my blog. :-)

great card-- and that paper pad is the best! I bought 2 more! Your card is sweet and elegant at the same time! The sun rays bring out the beauty of the paper without detracting from the sentiment!

Why don't I ever have scraps as nice as yours?

Fantastic! love all the different DP's on here and the design!
I'm not going to try to comment on all the cards I missed the last few days - but do have to say I love that heart card (previous post!).
Yes, I'm back - all the company left about an hour ago and am enjoying all the peace and quiet!

That IS a perfect sentiment for OWH, Carol! I love every little detail on this card.

(Have you gone to/heard of Pixie's Crafty Snippets? It's a weekly linky strictly just for fun and the only rule is that you've used a snippet of paper or ribbon, etc. on your card. I have found it to be a great reminder to me to go to my snippets drawers. There is a "Playground" and Di is the "Head Mistress" and we "girls" are always thinking of ways to have her pull her hair out. It's a lot of fun writing and reading the comments on each other's snippets posts. In case you're interested.)

It's been a fun year getting to know you. I wish you every happiness and good health in the new year!! Mwah! Darnell

Carol, I also used this paper pad for several cards for OWH. Your starburst is beautiful. I have yet to attempt making one. Great job!

Carol, what a fabulous assortment of papers to make your sunray. Very cool card.

I think I'm finally back to stay. I'll probably have to skip some of your cards and just start when you left off..otherwise, I'll never get through commenting. I'm really trying to catch up. Hope that's o.k., my friend. I've missed your cards.

Hope you have a fun New Year's Eve and a fabulous 2013!!
