A Warm Hello

Here's my card for the OWH Stars and Stamps Sketch challenge #151. I'm also linking this up with the Speedy Fox & Friends challenge #138 to add some "snow" for a white Christmas. I wonder if all these black & pink snowflakes qualify? As you can see, I'm still in pink and black mode with scraps of those colors lying on my table. The dsp is from the MME Christmas pad, and I wondered what in the world I'd ever use the black snowflakes for when I first opened it, but oddly enough, I reach for that particular dsp more often than the rest of the designs in the pad! LOL The tiny horizontal strip is a piece of the dsp I trimmed off, and when I saw the flip side I thought it would make a nice complimentary border. The snowflakes were done with a MS punch adding silver brads to the centers, and the embossing was done with a Sizzix ef. The sentiment is from Northwoods. My original idea was to put the pink panel on top, but I guess I didn't have enough coffee yet this morning, and accidentally adhered the dsp to the top instead. oops!! I'm happy with the way it turned out anyway, or should I say turned out sideways?! I flipped the sketch again:)

Have a good one :)
