I used the tree image and sentiment from CAS-ual Friday's "calm and gentle" set, along with a torn piece of mint green cardstock from Core-dinations. The flip side is black, which adds a touch of color on the torn edge to separate the grassy area from the white background. I used assorted colors of ink daubers (remember them?) to color the stamp before adding the leaves, and then I used Spica glitter pens to add a little more pop of color.
Thanks for taking a moment to stop by - it's always great to see you :) Make it a great day!

Too cute! I love your tree leaves and the grassy area. Looks as if you still have some nice, Fall color. The leaves are really falling at my house. I don't like bare trees but that is what we'll soon have.
Great job on this one Carol. Sorry I'm behind on commenting. Love your grassy knoll and the way you made the fall leaves. Talk to you soon.
Carol, Your imagination and creativity is endless...I so enjoy visiting your blog. Speaking of blogs, did you get to take a peek a Cherie's blog and see her most recent card? If you get time take a peek...

Ink daubers! What a wonderful way to add color to the leaves! It turned out fabulous and I do like that hint of black peeking from behind :) Thanks for tearing it up with us at CAS-ual Fridays this week!
Carol - what a lovely card! I love how you colored the leaves, and the torn grass is wonderful! Thank you so much for playing along with us at CAS-ual Fridays!
What a perfect hill you tore, and the sentiment is positioned just right too. A very well-designed card!
Another absolutely wonderful card. I could think of a hundred people I could send this to. Wonderful job. Hugz!

Carol, this has such a soft look that is perfect for the "miss you" sentiment. I love how you've placed the trees on top of a hill, and the torn edge adds a wonderful texture. Thanks for sharing this with us at CAS-ual Fridays!
