I used dsp from BoBunny's Crazy Love collection, along with some matching ribbon, and a few pink heart gemstones. The heart was done with a SU! heart punch, and the sentiment is from SNSS, done with a SU! word window punch and a hand-cut banner. The polka dots around the outside edge were done with a picket fence distress marker. I'm trying to make "love" cards instead of Valentine cards, so that if I do miss the OWH deadline for Valentines, these cards will still be useful for our heroes to send all year long.
Wishing you all a fabulous Sunday! I'll be watching the last NASCAR race of the season today and then wondering what I'll do with my Sunday afternoons until the races start back up again in February :) I think I have an addiction to speed and fast cars :)

pretty, I love the pink and brown
Carol, pink and brown, such a lovely combo. Whew you had a lot of patience to make all those polka dots. They came out very nice. And I love the flat bow in the middle of your heart. Sweet papers. I know what you mean about Sunday afternoons. Maybe I'll get more cards made, I hope anyway. Well enjoy this last race. I'm going to start TV watching early to relax and watch Food Network to see if I can find any little hints about the T-Day dinner. Talk soon.
Definetly inspiring! I so often struggle with paper that has words - but yours is beautiful!!!!!
This is gorgeous! Love the color combo and think it's a sweet and wonderful valentine!!
I still have to finish my own Christmas Cards and hope to do that this week!! I'm behind, but I know I will get them done!! <3
Absolutely beautiful Carol. I love pink and brown but don't use it nearly enough. I love the idea of using SU's word punch on the banner and your patience adding all those dots. Enjoy you Sunday.
Gorgeous! Love all the different DP's you used on this one and what a great idea to make "love" cards instead of valentines! Like the way you did all the dots in around the edges too!
Speaking of SPEED!!! They're having a Formula I race at a new track close to Austin today (about 2 or 3 hours from here)! Now, don't you wish you lived closer!! LOL!
Have a great day!

Love the text panel and the heart and bow. Have watching the races!
Awesome card! Love those papers...the heart is perfect! tfs!!!
Very cute card. The window punch against the banner is a great idea.
Great job with the sketch, Carol...Nicely done!
Gorgeous papers! I see you're showing off more tedious work with all those polka dots around the edge. How do you do it!!! The thought just gives me a headache. I'm trying to do love cards instead of Valentines too, just in case it gets a little too far along in December before I get my box full. Maybe I should get a smaller box!
Very pretty and love the papers. Beautiful heart, too. You know, those dots around your card remind me of Faith (Markie' Mom's cards..she always did that).
Wow! Pink and brown always remind me of a box of chocolates. Remember the really big box assortments, and you would bite a candy, and the cream would ooze out! What is more fitting for an adorable love card! Wonderful papers!
Hi Carol! Wow! What a delightful card. Great choices of DP; yummy bow; will CASE your use of the Word Window punch against a banner! Love it all.
Great card, Carol! I love how your ribbon knot is threaded through the heart. Thanks for joining us in this week's Operation Write Home Sketch Challenge!
Just lovely. Pink and brown go so well together and the bow-tie heart is adorable!
Great take on the sketch challenge! Love your choice of colors and such pretty papers.
I'm coming in late because yesterday was hectic and we lost power during a storm for most of today, but WOW!
That is so pretty and romantic and perfect!! The pink and brown are gorgeous together, the papers are to die for, the ribbon on the heart is so inspired, which really caught my eye, and wowza. . . those dots? Flat out amazing. I'm really into cooking and one of the most important things is to put a lot of love into the food. I can tell that's exactly what you did with this card, which is definitely going to be a keeper for some lucky recipient!
So Sweet Miss Carol!! Love the Darling heart, ( you know I'm a Sucker for hearts, lol ) Love the Great layout and Sweet dp's too! 8-)
Hugs
Shannon
