Sending Love in Silver and Blue

For my card, I used the sketch from OWH Stars & Stamps #148, along with the colors of the Dynamic Duo #30 of midnight muse & silver.
The tree is a MB die from Simon Says Stamp called Tall Forest Tree, and the metallic silver hearts were done with the SU! owl punch. I used SU!'s Baroque Motifs to heat emboss the bottom panel with silver ep, then dry embossed the midnight muse panel with a Sizzix ef from the hearts/curlique set. Ribbon is from my stash and the sentiment is from SNSS.

Thanks for stopping by today, I wish you all a great Sunday.

Carol

Ooo, Carol, really pretty! Maybe one of these weeks, I'll keep track of all the challenges going on during the week and try to throw them all into one card.....or maybe that's just wishful thinking..... :-)

Wow, you came up with a beautiful card for this sketch. Those heart leaves looks amazing and go so well with the embossing. The ribbon is a nice touch.
Enjoy your day. The wind is blowing so hard here that it sounds like a blizzard should be going on outside. Glad to have a nice fire going today.

Beautiful card Carol !! I was so captivated by the design I almost didn't remember that you used the tag sketch for today. I love the little hearts on the tree. Just the right touches of blue and silver makes this an elegant card.

Hi Carol,
I think your card is awesome and I'm so excited because I actually just WON this die from a gal in the Hero Group who was hosting a little giveaway on her blog.

When she wrote to tell me I was the winner, I was so happy because I really LOVE the dies. I have collected quite a few and think Kristina is doing a fantastic job with the new dies and stamps she has designed.

BTW -- Excuse me if I forgot (??) Fibro fog may have my mind...but are you taking the new class that Jennifer and Kristina have starting tomorrow? I am and signed up as soon as the email arrived on Friday. I think it will be fun and I've taken every one and been very pleased!!

IF so, it will be great to see you there. I'm still so excited that you were a big winner at Hero and hope you have fun picking out you new goodies!!

Sorry I'm behind in posting, but I have not had much free time and feel like I'm behind on life. Today, I crafted almost all day and most of yesterday, which was wonderful.

Hugs,
Lisa

Beautiful card, Carol! I just wanted to add that I like your ef better than the one I have, because on yours the hearts go in different random directions. Great job!
