MFP Photo Inspiration Challenge #129

There's an inspiration photo here for the MFP Speedy Fox & Friends Challenge #129. This must be the most difficult challenge I've done yet, and I'm just getting my card in under the deadline after pondering for a solid week! LOL

Here is the card I made, and I'm not sure there's anything I really like about it, but hopefully someone will find beauty where I don't! LOL I started with a piece of Tim Holtz shabby vintage dsp, scored it into "tiles" and sponged with pumice stone & mushroom inks to add some color depth. The MFP pumpkins image was paper pieced for a pop of color, using kraft, BG and SU dsp scraps. The sentiment and pumpkin images are both from the MFP thankful mums and pumpkins set, and the sentiment was stamped with Adirondak mushroom ink. The flourish is a Cheery Lynn mini fanciful flourish die and was sponged with pumice stone ink to tone it down to match the card. I used a piece of mushroom-colored twill for the finishing touch. This might be the strangest card I've made yet, but I completed the challenge and I'll take an "E" for effort :)

Make it a great Friday!

Carol

I knew you would come through on this one and the scored tiles are a great idea. Love the paper pieced pumpkins, too. Well done on a real challenge which I think makes it more fun when a person finally conquers it.
