Here is this week's Merry Monday challenge #18. It's another fun sketch to help us get an early start on our Christmas cards for the year.
Here is my poorly photographed card, but it's the best I could provide with the dreary day we have here in PA. I wanted you to be able to see the glitter I added to the leaves of the poinsettia with a pink Spica glitter pen. It looks so much nicer IRL. I used dsp from the Jingle pad by Lilly Bee designs along with some SU! Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive card stock. The SU! Contempo Christmas sentiment was done with a piece of PTI Soft Stone; embossed with gold ep, and cut with a SB grommet tag. I added 3 gold beads along with some SU! ribbon I've been hoarding for well over a year. The poinsettia and leaves were done with a SB layered poinsettia die.
And last but not least, here is Heidi's May calendar page. This is part of a fabulous Christmas present Heidi sent me last year - a year's worth of beautifully hand-crafted calendar pages that she created. I wish she was still blogging, but that's not in the cards for her any longer. I'm so grateful to have been he recipient of such a beautiful gift!
Happy Mayday every one! Thanks so much for stopping by!
Carol
