This week the challenge for the SNSDC51 is "April Showers." I'm using the SNSS Morning Glory and Psalm30:5b digi images for this card, and it will be used as a sympathy card. I colored the image with Copics cut it using a SB beaded oval die. I wove some mini white ric-rac through the die and added a little matching color to the tiny ovals while the piece was still in the die. I added some more mini white ric-rac along the bottom with some very tiny HA pearls. The lavender background piece was embossed with a TH Sizzix damask embossing folder.

Carol, This card is phenomenal!!! Just gorgeous. I love how you colored the ovals and that ric rac is so sweet and delicate. The embossing is very pretty and the ric rac and pearls along the bottom is just lovely. The image is colored beautifully. (as always with you). In my opinion the SNSDC design team is going to be missing a fabulously talented member, but I am so glad to see you will still be around for us to enjoy your creations. Have a great day.

Ooh, look how elegant! I love the way you used the rick rack and pearl dots at the bottom. And the way you colored the dots around the oval make it almost look like ribbon weaved beside the rick rack. Very pretty with the embossing!
