Wrapping up the S&S VCMP Challenges

Here's my card for the VCMP rainforest color challenge#11 to make a card using shades of green with a splash of color. I'm not sure if I like this one or not, but it's done, and hopefully someone will enjoy it. I used Spellbinders fancy tags two, foliage, and Sizzix bricked ef. The flowers were done with a MS hydrangea punch and dotted inside with a Viva pearl pen.

Here's my card for the VCMP Boats & Ships challenge#12 to use an image of a boat or ship on your card. I made this one generic so it could be used for a birthday, father's day, or just for a masculine card in general. I used the SU! Open Sea image along with chocolate chip, and some retired Parisan Breeze dsp. The brown panel was embossed with a Sizzix plaid ef and the borders were done with a SU! fancy scallop punch, and an EK zig zag (chain) punch. The image is on a piece of Baja Breeze card stock and cut with a labels eighteen die.

For the final challenge VCMP#13 - embossing - I'm using a stamped image I made when stamping with my friend Mary Anne quite a while ago. It's a GinaK image, and it was created by coloring the stamp with markers before stamping. I cut the image with Petite Ovals Nesties, and used the SU! square lattice ef on the piece of blue card stock.
That does it for the Stars & Stamps VCMP challenges, and I managed to finish them all! Now to get back to my normal routine once again :) It's snowing pretty good here in PA this evening, so I suppose I'll be home-bound and stamping tomorrow again :)
Thanks for all your visits and wonderful comments during this week-long event! I really appreciate your taking time to stop by and say hello!

Carol

Your cards are so beautiful. The first one reminds me of ivy growing up a wall in a garden. I love what you did on the last one.. that turned out so pretty. The ship is stunning and the embossed layer is perfect. Whoever receives these are going to enjoy and treasure these for always. ~ Pam

Carol, you could knock me out with the beauty in these three cards. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the rainforest card. I've not seen that spellbinders before. Those little flowers are so sweet and delicate. Your boats and ships card is just the perfect guy card. Very nicely done. Your embossed card is gorgeous. I don't remember seeing that gina K stamp either. I love the colors you picked for this one. It's delicate, crisp and clean all at the same time. You had a totally fantastic run with each and every one of your challenge cards. YAY for you.

Super cards...each one. That Parisian Breeze is such awesome paper. I have a little left and hate to see it go. Your little hydrangea blooms are so sweet and that card is adorable.

I like each of your cards. I am impressed by the sharp focus each one has while still having those added touches. The first card is so pretty with those small flowers. I love it!

All nicely done cards, Carol, but I really like the third one...That lattice folder draws me to the card every time...LOL. I like the color combo on the image...
Carol, I need you to help me get started again. You never seem to run out of ideas for cards, and I'm having a hard time starting again. Too long away from making cards. I feel like I need to start all over again.
