Here's my take on S&S VCMP challenge #10 to create a vintage card. I printed this Doodle Pantry vintage car image on Crumb Cake card stock and sponged it with Antique Linen ink. I embossed a scrap piece of cardstock with some gold EP and punched out a few word window tabs and adhered them with some mini brass brads. The dsp is by BoBunny Timepiece. I was going to color the image, but decided it looked fine as it is. The colors look better IRL, but it's a cloudy day here in PA so the lighting isn't very good, sorry.
I have a few more VCMP challenges to catch up on, so I'd better get busy:)
Thanks for stopping by!

Carol, this is beautiful. I like that image in the first place, but your really brought it to life with the gold and stars. I don't know if the dp came with the stamping on them or if you did that yourself, but it goes perfect with the rest of the card. Thanks for reminding me to post, I stopped to go eat and forgot all about coming back to do that. We know where my mind was and still is. Now I'm thinking about what I'll be having for dinner. LOL
Hi Carol! Way to rock the vintage challenge! As Donna said, the touches of gold really frame the image perfectly, and I do love image as a line drawing. The vintage DP is the perfect background.
Beautiful card, Carol. The star-studded gold embossed tabs look really cool.
This image is so terrific for a vintage-themed card! What makes it for me are the old-style suitcase and hat box next to the automobile. Let's roll ;)
Oh Carol, I love your vintage card! Your choice of dsp's is perfect with that vintage car!
What a great card...and It's looks great without coloring it...makes it really look vintage!

Very nice! Great choice of image, colors and embellishments. The star brads are the perfect extra touch.
It's a wonderful vintage, Carol. I like your tabs with the mini brads. I'm with you...the image didn't need coloring.
Love, love, love this one! So cool!! :)
