Here's my entry for the OWH Stars and Stamps Sketch challenge #105. I had pieces left over from an old Atlas map page I used to create a card earlier this week, so I used them for this sketch. First I stamped a piece of crumb cake card stock with elements from the SU! Open Sea stamp set in antique linen and faded denim inks, then sponged around the edges. The sentiment is from SU! and I sponged that while it was in the die, and edged it with a black marker. Quick and easy!
Now I need to work on a few more cards so I can get them mailed to OWH soon as there is a real need for them right now!
Have a great Sunday, and if you're a football fan, I hope your team wins!
As for me, I'm patiently waiting for NASCAR to resume next month :)

Carol, what a fabulous card. The sentiment and the maps go so well together. Wonderful idea using the maps and that shade of blue in your map pieces pairs well with the crumb cake. I'm with you, waiting till next month for NASCAR.
The map paper is perfect with the sentiment! Great job!
Donna, your card is wonderful! Love the map for the strips and the sentiment is terrific.
Hi Carol! I've been doing some sponging and inking in my Spellbinders too, all because of you and how much I like how your cards come out with that technique. Love your card (actually, cards - all of them) and thanks for inspiring me to go off in different directions.
Neat! I have some map paper and now I know what to do with it! Thanks for sharing this cool card.
That map paper is awesome on this card, Carol! You rocked the sketch!
This is so fun and creative and I just LOVE it! I need to get out a map and use it for some cards. You are just so inspiring!
I posted a comment earlier, and it's not showing up. Operator error, I'm sure. Anyway.. I love that map paper!! Wow, I love this card for the sketch!

...NASCAR is coming soon! I'm excited because I now have a TV in my kitchen....so on Sundays when I'm in there cooking dinner or getting stuff ready for lunches for the week, I can have the race on in the background. :)
great upcycling with the map - I like how you matted the map to make it pop more. thanks for supporting OWH

Loving your card, the sponging in the cirle is awesome. Liking the map DP and the sentiment is beautiful. Lovely card.
Love this, Carol!!! :)
I'm ready for NASCAR to start too!
Amazing card! I really love everything about it, starting with how perfect the sentiment is for the "look" of the card and, of course, it is perfect for the recipient of this card.
Great take on the new sketch! Love the map strips. I'm working on an OWH box, too.

Carol, LOVE the design of your card and the sentiment with those map strips! GREAT card!
Carol, you have me looking for maps to make cards with...so creative and beautifully done (as always!)
That is a cool card..good idea making your panels with the map page.
I'm a football fan, but not pro. My team just won the National Championship a couple weeks ago. Go Bama!

Love the combination of the map paper and the kraft in this card. What a great interpretation of this week's OWH sketch. Great sponging work too! That's often hit-or-miss for me... you did it perfectly!
