I've managed to play in several of the challenges going on over at the Stars & Stamps blog this weekend. Blogger is being contrary and won't allow me to post my cards in the challenge order, so they're randomly posted. This card is for challenge #3, by Tanya of Tinkerin Ink - to "tie a yellow ribbon". Her challenge is actually a color challenge to use espresso, peach parfait & daffodil. I improvised with chocolate chip and the paper co yellow since I don't have all the required colors, but I did get the yellow ribbon tied around the card.
This card is for challenge#5 from Holley of Holley's Hobbies who challenged us to create a vintage or distressed card. I used a SU! image and distressed, distressed, and distressed! The lettering was done with my Quickutz tool.
This was challenge #1 by Brenda of Brenda's Stamping Corner where she asked us to use camouflage. I found a 3" square scrap of camouflage dp in my stash, so I paper pieced this young boys outfit. I added strips to the background in the camouflage colors, and stamped a weathered background on the kraft cardstock. Each panel was embossed with a different ef to add interest.
I have more cards to post and more to make, so stay tuned!!
