I combined a couple of SNSS challenges into one card this morning. This is for the SSS116 sketch challenge, as well as the Sweet'nSassy connection's Sunday Just for Fun challenge to make a thank-you card. I used the butterfly from the new creature SNSS set, along with a sentiment from the SNSS Poppies and Greetings set. I used some very old BG dp I've had forever, but I liked how it looked with these bazzill blue & yellow card stock colors. The ribbon was from my stash, and I added some HA 3mm pearls to the centers. The "friend" tab was cut with a Nestabilities die.
I hope you're all having a good start to a great weekend, and thanks for stopping by!

Carol, this is lovely! That butterfly is just awesome in all the wonderful colors. Great patterned paper and love the layout too. Beautiful card! (I kept looking to see if Cocoa was poking his head around in there somewhere though! LOL!) (I'm still checking out the sale too! Thanks)

Love this! Sooooooo colorful!
Carol, Terrific card. ove the colors and that ribbon is precious. I haven't had a chance to do anything this week. This upcoming week I will be staining all the decks around the house and I finally go to the doc for my arms. Hopefully I'll get one card made tomorrow for S & S and then back on track next week. My cousin leaves tomorrow so that will also free upsome of my time. She's been here a week so it's hard to craft with company here.
What a lovely card Carol. The butterfly looks awesome! The colors are so pretty!
Gorgeous butterfly Carol and great take on the sketch. Love the colors in this creation.

BEAUTIFUL creation, Carol! Loving that gorgeous butterfly. Thanks for the blog visit and sweet comment.
This is one of those cards that just make you smile! Love the colors!
What a beautiful and colorful butterfly. Love the gorgeous paper you've used...just a fab creation, Carol.
I sometimes make myself pause and mourn the passing of BEAUTIFUL d/p that becomes old FAR too quickly! This is a perfect example - WHY is this old? It's SO beautiful and YOU have showcased it so flawlessly! So many papers I've hoarded to "save" for a rainy day... *sob* It's just a shame, I tell you. Seeing this OUTstanding piece just lifts my chin! GREAT work! You should get EXTRA credit for making old paper look SO NEW! {hee hee}
Carol, your butterfly is just gorgeous...love all the cheerful colors and the daisy trim with the pearls. I always enjoy seeing what you create with the sketch!
