Here's my take on the OWH Stars & Stamps #72 sketch challenge for this week. This is made entirely from scraps, using 2 different CB embossing folders and an Inkadinkado sentiment. Quick & easy!
This is for the Sweet Stop Sketch SSS111 which I also found to be a simple sketch to work with. I used the Sweet 'n Sassy Tulips digital stamp and colored with Copics. The DP is Poppy Parade by SU! The supplies I used are pretty basic, but if you need details, shoot me an email. I tweaked the sketch a little bit and added the 3 tiny brads to the focal image because they looked better there, and added some balance overall.
Thanks so much for stopping by :)

I like all the texture in the first one, and love the scallop edge in black on the second...I like em' both!
Carol! I love both of your cards. Those star embossed panels are great. Thanks for playing at the Sweet Stop.
Great cards! The second card really rocks with that tough of black here and there! TFS.
Both great cards. I really like the black behind the scalloped border on the second card!
Very pretty- I love the star embossed panels. I have got to pull out that folder and put it to good use. Thanks for the inspiration!
Such pretty colors!
Carol, Love both of your cards. I really like your red embossed strip on the OWH card. Your Sweet Stop card is beautiful. Pink and black is such a nice combo. Great coloring.
Great cards! I love the star embossing on the first card and love the black scallops on the second card!
Fabulous cards Carol. Both sketches are awesome and I really like the images you used. :o) The patterns and textures are perfect!
Please create enough for both of us until I can get going again! LOL! These are both amazing. Love the texture on the OWH card, and the sketch for Korin's challenge is done perfectly!
Beautiful cards, Carol! Love the dry embossing in your sketch card. Thanks for joining us in this week's OWH Stars & Stamps Sketch Challenge!
Great cards Carol! Love the Red & Black theme for those gorgeous tulips! Thanks for joining us at The Sweet Stop!
You're really using those scraps lately..good for you. I forget to get in my scrap drawer for dp. I used cardstock scraps a good bit, though. Don't you love that herringbone folder..so much texture.
Of course, I'm in love with the tulip card...my favorite flower. The sentiment is so sweet. Love them both, Carol!!!
I'm saluting and drooling AT THE SAME TIME! {Not a very nice visual... sorry!} hee hee These are WONDERFUL! You had me at the texture - but the color work has me applauding, ever so much more wildly! Yipeeee!
So pretty, Carol...
