SNSDC4 - Red, White & Blue Cocoa's Choo-Choo!

Happy Friday friends! It's the kick-off to an extended holiday weekend celebration of Memorial Day here in the US, and the unofficial start of summer! It's also time for another Sweet 'n Sassy digi challenge found here. The challenge this week is to create something using red, white, & blue! That's the perfect challenge for the upcoming holiday, since we pay tribute to those armed forces who served and continue to serve this great country of ours on Memorial Day.
For my card I used the Sweet 'n Sassy Cocoa's train digi image and colored it with Copics. I used a Cuttlebug star ef for the background and a spellbinders ribbon tag die for the sentiment. The birthday sentiment is from the Poppies and Greetings clear stamp set. I added some silver brads for the train wheels and some ribbon from my stash. The silver star is a button I made by embossing a piece of card stock with silver ep, and layering it with 4 more punched stars. I added glossy accents to the top, and after it dried I punched 2 holes with a Crop-o-dile and added a little snippet of ribbon.
