I made this card for the Penny Black National Scrapbook Day challenge found here. The challenge is to create a monochromatic card using PB stamps. I used the "to You" set for the floral image and the "bubbly" set for the masked-off sentiment. I used PB mix & match papers with white and a piece of Bo Bunny dp. I stamped the image with Versamark ink and embossed it with white ep, then masked it off and sponged around it with Memento Angel Pink ink. I added a few light strokes inside the flower petals with a Copic marker just for interest. The border along the bottom was done with a SU punch and I punched some tiny circles with a hole punch and added them to the border, dotting each one with Glossy Accents. Ditto for the larger dots on the side panel. I used a SU! ef and a bow-easy to create the bow.
I tend to shy away from doing monochromatic cards because I find them difficult to create, but I was lucky to find and mix some papers that worked well together. Now I'm glad I gave it a try!
It's time for a Saturday night race, so I'm outta here! Enjoy your evening and I wish all of you moms a very happy Mother's Day tomorrow!!
