Happy Memorial Day Everyone! If you're looking for this week's Stamps R Us challenge, please scroll down one post.This card is for The Sweet Stop sketch challenge SSS110 found here. I used this new digi image called Cocoa's Sundae and colored it with Copics. I added a few chocolate chips to the mint chocolate chip ice cream, chocolate chip ice cream and a few strawberries for that flavor too :)
I used some retired SU dp and some yellow from the paper co, embossing with a CB ef. I added some bakers twine and a button for an accent and added some glossy accents to the chocolate syrup and cherry. YUMMY huh?
And this card is for the Stars & Stamps sketch challenge #71 found here. I used the SNS Cocoa's Popcorn digi image, coloring with Copics. I used a scrap of unknown DP for the vertical strip and added a couple yellow eyelets for interest. I'm not going to add a sentiment for this one because it can be used for lots of different occasions.I hope you'll all take a moment to remember our fallen heroes on this special holiday and remember that without those brave men and women, we wouldn't have the freedom we all take for granted each and every day. Hi Carol, both of these cards are adorable. The problem is that they both look so real that now I am very hungry. This is not a good thing. I love all the colors and your paper choices. The coloring is fabulous as usual from you. Enjoy your holiday.

If I had not already started my snack, I think I would run to pop a bag of popcorn in the microwave. Hmmm

I'm in for a break AGAIN...too hot to be out so long. Then, I will go back and pot some plants. That will be easier and in a good shade. Yay!

How sweet! Just a wee bit of a nasty tease, too...since hubby and I were craving some ice cream and stopped at the local ice cream parlor, only to find the line of people waiting was out the door, so we said "fuggedaboudit" and left. Grrrr.
