The Stars & Stamps mid-week throwdown this week is to use scallops. Paula generously donated a free digi for you to use to make cards for OWH, so go check it out and play along! I know you all have scallops of some sort!
For my card I used a Sweet 'n Sassy Cocoa digi image, printing and coloring with Copics. The DP is all by Basic Grey. I created the vertical scalloped panel by punching with the SU scalloped border on both sides of a strip of DP and adding mini star brads. Sentiment is by Inkadinkado and I used the word window and fancy label punches to frame it. The camera didn't pick it up, but I used glossy accents all over the frosting and filling on the cake :)
Thanks for stopping by and I wish everyone a happy St. Patrick's day! I can't believe I didn't remember to make a green card for today so I'm posting this in green! It's shameful I know.........
I know.............I know...........

Carl, Great as usual, I love the cake even though it doesn't have green frosting.LOL I also love the designer paper and the little brads. Your scallop strip came out very good. I did the same thing the other day but it never made it on to the card. All around great card. So cute. Have a great day. Thanks you again for my Award. XOXO I will post it today
Hi Carol, me again, I posted by Blogger Award you so generously bestowed upon me, but it came up under today's post. Didn't want you to miss it and think I didn't post it. Talk Soon XOXO

great birthday card - love that DP (maybe I'll find a piece in your scrap bin someday)! Don't know if you intended it or not, but I see the number 10 (scalloped panel and Cocoa's circled image).

I'm just as bad, using the dog to celebrate for me! LOL! I was a good girl and baked cupcakes with shamrocks for work yesterday. I took all but 4 so I would not eat them. Hubby claimed the 4. This chocolate cake looks mighty yummy though! You colored it perfectly!
Your card may not be green, but it sure is cute. I have that cocoa image and it has not seen ink yet. I know get it out and make a card...smile...Happy St Patrick's day to you too, My friend...
