Here is my friend Jill who lives just a shout away from me. She didn't smile in any photos from our last stamp fest, but this time I caught a bit of a nice smile in this picture! Jill and I have stamped together at my home & hers a few times already, and we both love to visit L&L just to shop. You must visit Jill's blog to see some of her unique and beautiful cards! She loves to do iris folding and 3-D cards and has a style unlike any other!
This is Cherie, a long-time friend of Jill's that I got to know through Jill. Cherie has a unique talent for perfectly fussy-cutting images with a cutting stylus, and I always tease her about cutting out my images for me! Cherie hasn't started a blog yet, but she does have a new gallery on SCS that you'll find if you click her name above. Notice that little bit of green behind her? That's Jen, who just happened to walk behind her while I took this photo, but she did a great job of disguising herself at just the right moment didn't she? :)
Here are 2 ladies I got to meet for the first time yesterday. That's Mary on the left and Jen on the right. You'll see a portion of Jen's head and back in the shot above (grin). I was thrilled to meet you both and get to know a little about you! If you click on their names, you'll be taken to their blogs where you can see some wonderful creations! Mary has been doing the Crazy4Cocoa challenges with us, and I didn't put it all together until I met her yesterday and figured out who she was! Jen told me I've also been commenting on her cards, but I didn't put it all together until we talked! I'm slow, what can I say :)
That's Kathy on the left and Denise on the right. Kathy has been to my house to stamp before and she does cards for OWH too. Kathy hasn't been posting lately, but she's alive and well and assures us she's still making cards! Denise must have lost her chair, or else she opted for a baby stool, because she's barely able to reach the table in this picture! LOL The tell-tale smiles in this picture are evidence of the fun everyone had! I just LOVE moments like this!
And last, but certainly not least, is Korin Sutherland - the owner of Sweet'nSassy Stamps.
Korin and Denise pretty much put this whole thing together, so bravo to you ladies for giving us the opportunity to get together and stamp to our heart's content! Korin taught us all a few good tips about coloring with Copics, and most of us were gathered around her to watch and learn. I don't know about everyone else, but I was like a sponge, trying to remember it all.
On a final note, I want to thank each and every one of you ladies for coming and to tell you how much fun I had getting to know you, exchange ideas, and stamp with you! I look forward to more of these get-togethers in the future and hopefully we can all meet more stampers the next time!
Have a wonderful Sunday and thanks for stopping by!
Carol
