Wow, that title sure is a mouthful isn't it? LOL Here's the sketch for the OWH Stars&Stamps challenge #55. It's a nice 'n easy one which allows for making multiple cards with little effort.
I used all scraps for my cards and I'll list the supplies at the end of the post for anyone who needs specifics. I used 1 embossing folder on the vertical panel on this card and added some faux stitching to the sentiment. The little tag was made with my Cricut and attached with some black thread. I dotted some flowers on the white dp with red smooch and after they dried, I added a drop of glossy accents as well. I also added glossy accents to the 2 hearts on the mini tag.
Here are 2 more cards I made using the same sketch. I used 6 different embossing folders for these and all the DP is from Tim Holtz vintage shabby paper pad. The ribbon is Bashful Blue from SU!
I have a big crockpot cooking away with some beef stew, the sun is out and the temps are in the mid 40's today, so it looks like it's going to be a good day! If you're going to watch the Superbowl, I hope you enjoy it! I watch mostly for the funny commercials, but if it's a good game, I'll get into it as the game goes on. I'm not a huge football fan but I'll be glued to the tv when NASCAR starts up again! Oh yeah!!
Have a fantastic Superbowl Sunday and good luck to all of you die-hard football fans getting up to go to work tomorrow morning ;)
Carol

Beautiful cards, Carol! I love all the dry embossing. Thanks for joining us in this week's OWH Stars & Stamps Sketch Challenge!
Beautiful cards. I love the sentiments on both of them.
I'm with you Carol, the commercials are the best part! You have made fine work of that sketch. Lovely cards. Hubby and I took a ride today before the next round of storms this week. It felt so good to get out and about.
Great cards, Carol! The black and white with the red rick-rack really pops and the two using Tim Holtz papers are great too.
love your cards
Both so pretty! Lots of texture...it really shows! Enjoy your stew...sounds yummy!

These are all very pretty Carol! I particularly LOVE the first card, those patterned papers look great together, and I love the quote panel!
Oh my, Carol...all your cards are beautiful. What a great sketch. Your Cuttlebug must have been smoking from all those embossing folders. Wish I had some of what was in your crockpot Super Bowl Sunday. I bet it would warm me up..I have a chill this morning.

These are TERRIFIC! I love that you put your Superbowl time to good use! As long as you got a little game food in ya, I say you are GOLDEN! {I'm not much of a fan, unless it's local - I'm TERRIBLE that way!} Glad you got your craft-ON in such a glorious way! Go CAROL, go CAROL, go CAROL - Yeeeeeaaaahhhhhoooooooo!
Wow Carol I love what you've done with this sketch! Beautiful cards!
I had a thought about the OWH midweek throwdown challenge, do you have any paper bags? I've used those in the place of kraft cs before ;)
