For my card I chose the new Melanie Mouse colored digi. This was the first time I tried using a colored digi, and I have to admit that I really liked using it! I added a touch of color to it with Copics, but it really streamlined the card-making process to have the major work done for me. I used some negative die-cuts that were heart-shaped and strung them together to mirror Melanie's string of hearts. They're all popped up with tiny pieces of foam tape and adhered to the edges with glue. The sentiment is from Sweet'n Sassy's Valentine's day Greetings digital stamp set. I added a few heart stickers to the sentiment panel for a little sparkle and also added some sponging to the main image with a very light pink ink to match it with the DP colors. This card didn't take much time at all to create......with the exception of the chain of hearts! That took a bit of patience to put together, but I'm pleased with the result!
You have until 9 PM this Sunday to enter your card in the blog hop, so what are you waiting for? Come along and join in the fun! I'm sure you'll find lots of inspiration as you hop-along with us :)
Have a super Friday and a great weekend!

What a resourceful woman you are!! :) LOVE how you used your heart cut for the chain! :) I save lots of my negative pieces too, and have enjoyed finding purpose for them.
