Faux Tile Technique

I played along with the SCS TLC309 today which is to create faux tiles. I used the technique found here, but I took a major shortcut to save time and used all Memory Box Enchanted designer paper instead of stamping an image. I used my favorite embellishment of late - Glossy Accents. I pulled a piece of SU! retired dp (I think it's Pixie Pink) and made my window using that as a base. I used Tombow markers to ink the Hero Arts stamp in pink and brown. This card is going into my next OWH box, as they put out a call for Spring-themed cards.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you're all having a great Monday!

Wow...Carol, very cool card. Love the tiles. O.K., did you tell Holly on SCS you cheated? LOL Hey, it looks great and I'm sure she didn't mind and you had a very clever idea. I see those Glossy Accents showing really well in this photo. Super job, my pal.

Ya gotta love those Glossy Accents! This came out super pretty! Memory Box papers are one of my very favorites. It's going up to 43 today! Shall I meet you at Michael's or A.C. Moore ?
