I made a few cards yesterday using the mosaic technique I described in the previous post. This one meets the weekly challenge #22 at Joans Gardens found here. This week's recipe for the challenge is to use the following:
1. A character (preferably Magnolia or Sarah Kay)
2. Something that sparkles
3. Nestie by Spellbinders - new if you have one
4. Greeting
I used a Magnolia image and the newest spellbinders I have - I think it's a labels 11. (I used to have all the Nesties memorized, but now that there are so many I forget the names!) I added green stickles to her bodice and dazzling diamonds to her wings for sparkle, and there is also lots of gold sparkle in the mosaic background I created using gold ep. All the dp on this came from a Debbie Mumm paper pack. The sentiment was done with an old Inkadinkado stamper, and SU! word window and fancy label punches. I stamped Tilda and her bench on wc paper and colored them with Tombows. After the images dried, I covered them with Versamark ink, then clear embossed them before cutting and popping them up on dimensionals. For the final touches, I added a flower I crocheted, some buttons and some Kaiser light green pearls.
Thanks for spending a few minutes of your day with me.........much appreciated! Have a marvelous Monday!

Carol, I love this technique. I went back to your previous card to read about it. I just don't think I've seen it before. It is so interesting and makes a beautiful card, as both of these are. I should give this a try as I have scraps galore..don't we all? LOL
