The challenge over at MFP Speedy the Cat's Friend's challenge #24 this week is to use stripes on your card. This beautiful striped paper is from a paper stack I received as a gift several years ago from a store that's now out of business. I've hoarded it all this time because it's my favorite color, but it seemed like the perfect choice to go with this cute grape image from KSS! I made the tag with an old Coluzzle and used Memento Grape Jelly and Cottage Ivy inks. The button is from PTI's New Leaf collection and I tied some purple hemp into a little bow. The ribbon came from my stash....a 10-cents-a-yard bargain I found at the Flower & Craft warehouse over a year ago. I liked this image so much I stamped it on the envelope flap too just for interest.
I hope you're all having a great kick-off to the weekend, and for those fellow Pennsylvanians.........how 'bout those Phillies!!! Woot!!
