This week over at the Just For Fun Color Challenge, the colors are a beautiful combo for autumn cards. I love the color rust, but for some reason it completely challenges me every time I try to use it. I had to push the envelope a bit on this challenge and add some chocolate chip as a neutral to make it work, but I'm still not happy with this card.
I started with PTI's Vintage Cream and embossed the card front with a Tim Holtz Texture Fades ef, then layered some Rust dp with chocolate chip. The floral image is by SU!, colored with markers and then stamped. The sentiment is from SU! and was done with the word window punch. The ribbon is from my stash and the bow was made with the Bow-Easy. This is a simple card design and yet it was a complete struggle for me to put it together! Ha! I gave it my best shot and hopefully someone will enjoy this card more than I do! Do any of you struggle with a particular color too? If so, which one?
Have a fabulous Friday evening and a fantastic weekend!!

LOVE those focal flowers Carol! And your bow is perfect! I've been thinking about getting a Bow Easy, my bows sometimes leave something to be desired ;)
Your card is just beautiful! I don't know why you aren't happy...It is just perfect I think! I too have the Bow Easy and I have to tell you, I can still screw up a good bow even with the Bow Easy. There is just something about making bows that gets me every time! Thanks for playing in the JFF Color Challenge!
Oh Carol your card is so beautiful.
Have a great weekend.

Another wonderful card! Love that bow, wish I could make one as perfect as you. The card just proves you can't be afraid of Really Rust, you used it so wonderfully! I love all the white embossing, it really makes the entire card pop!
