Here's a card I made for the Speedy the Cat's Friends #18 challenge which is to create a friendship card. I used my Marks Finest Paper "Owl be Here" set for the sentiment and used an assortment of scraps to make the card. I've been hoarding a few select sheets of long-retired SU! card stock and decided today was the day to start using them. I think the base I used for this is called True Thyme. I love it, and used most of it with the Marigold that was sold in the same IN color pack way back when. It looks just right for Autumn colors, so I'm learning to let go and actually USE the things I've been hoarding for so long. Now to break into those precious packs of Apple Cider and Afternoon Tea DP one day soon. *sigh*
Anyhoooo (pun intended) I used the SU! owl punch for this and made him out of scraps. The leaves were done with a MS punch and I used an embossing stencil to create the veins. The rest is pretty easy peasy.
On to the kitchen to start preparing dinner! Have yourselves a fabulous weekend, ya hear?!
