Julee (from Verve stamps) is offering a free digital download of these mittens and sentiment (plus another sentiment) until Friday when her newest stamp sets are released. Check out the forum here if you want these cute images! I already made all my sketch cards for the release challenge, but I couldn't resist trying out these cute digital images. I'm not good at coloring on regular cardstock and my printer won't accept wc paper, so I opted to emboss these mittens with lavender ep. I colored the tops with Tombows and added Geo Sparklers. The whole panel was sponged with Bashful Blue while still in the die. The sentiment panel (don't you just love these fonts???) was also sponged with bashful blue and a few more Geo sparklers were added. The ribbon is from a bobbin ribbon and the bow was made with a bow-easy. The felt snowflakes have a decorative button attached that's tied with purple hemp. I know the colors are non-traditional, but I find them very pleasing to my eyes:) This is a 5.5 square card, so next I'll have to make a matching envelope for it.
Thanks for stopping by and make this a great day wherever you are!!!
