Next up is a Christmas card I made for Debbie Olson's EHWCMD7 challenge to create a holiday card. For this one I used heavy-duty aluminum foil for an accent. I stamped the snowflake (CTMH) in versamark and embossed with red ep. After it dried, I used a glue pen to mark highlights and added some dazzling diamonds for sparkle. If only my camera could have picked up the glitter *sigh*. You can click the picture to enlarge, and perhaps you might see it better. The snowflake brad was white, but I dipped that in a Versamark inkpad, then in silver ep and hit it with the heat gun. The scalloped circle was made by adhering some foil to a scrap piece of cardstock, then I used a Nestability to cut it out. For the sentiment panel, I used a Nestability label, cutting one from white and the other from foil-covered cardstock. I cut the foiled label lengthwise to layer it underneath the white. The dsp, ribbon and sentiment stamp are all by SU!, while the white card stock is from PTI. The tiny silver pearls were a RAK from Silke Ledlow(thanks g/f)
Thanks for the great challenges over at the CLASSroom and thanks for spending a little time with me here today. Enjoy your Sunday!!
