I've had an idea in my head for quite a while to create a scene using the MS fence punch with a tree behind it, and this is how that idea finally came to life. I double punched both sides of some cardstock with the fence punch to make it a little taller. I sponged the cardstock with greens, tans and blues to create a backdrop. The florals cascading over the fence were made with flowersoft. The bunny is from KitchenSinkStamps, and I drew in his eye and added his tail with liquid applique. I drew the birds in by hand and added the grass accents with a tiny stamp from the Hip Hop Accessories stamp set. The sentiment was cut out with a nestie tag die, and the gorgeous ribbon was a gift from Michelle with my last order from her fabulous online store.
I think this card is expressing my desire for warmer weather and the scent of those wonderful, familiar flowers that I love so much!
Thanks for stopping by today and have a wonderful Tuesday!
