Penny Black Cards for Kids

Today I have a couple cards I made for hospitalized kids for Christmas. This precious Penny Black image is perfect to bring a smile, and I made them in several colors for a little variety. I used Lil Inkers stitched rectangles dies to cut the Pool Party cardstock and matching SU! dsp. I colored the image with Copics and added some frosted lace stickles to the snow for a little sparkle. The sentiment will be hand-written inside.

And here's a version in traditional red and green colors. The dsp and cardstock were snippets from my overflowing stash. I made 6 cards like this in different colors and I'll share them at a later date.

I'm taking them over to the November Penny Black Saturday Challenge which is to use dies and/or punches.

I'm also sharing them over at the Snippets Playground #203 - which is always to use snippets.

Wishing you a great Sunday, and thanks so much for stopping by!

Hi Carol! Oh these really are such darling cards - I do so love the image needless to say (Penny Black always ticks all the boxes), and they work so well with the different frame colours.

Such sweet little cards. They are both great but I am partial to the winter colored version, such chilly blues!

I love this cute PB image Carol. It's amazing how different it looks just by using different colours isn't it. Your cards are lovely and perfect for the children in hospital.
