Here's my 2nd post for today, and this is for Shopping our Stash #160. The challenge is "who's who" - in other words, use a photo or image of a person. While going through my stash of pre-cut embellishments, do-dads and borders, I found this photo of Rob Thomas. I'd made a card with this image a while ago (sorry, I haven't been able to find that card yet) and apparently printed and cut two of the photos of him, tossing the 2nd in that bin of lost and/or forgotten elements until today. Anyone who knows me well, knows Rob is one of my favorite singers, so making a card with his image was fun. (right Sue K?)
I stamped the black background with some brilliance ink, using a $1 music note stamp, and then masked the sentiment words from a longer Stampendous sentiment stamp. For the final touch, I added a maroon heart with a silver heart brad, and some Lawn Fawn twine at the bottom.

Awesome!! When I first saw the thumbnail of your card I thought...wow that image looks just like Rob Thomas!! LOL it is, it IS Rob Thomas!! Fab card for the Who's Who challenge! Thanks for playing along with the Shopping Our Stash crew this week!!

Adorable card! I forgot who Rob Thomas was until I googled him LOL. My memory not so good! I enjoy his music too! Great job with this musical card!
Fit Kitty Girl...how could your forget ROB? OH my my this card just makes my heart happy! At work every time Rob comes on the radio I say "There's ROB!" Now they say it along with me!!!!

I do that all the time, print two and then magically rediscover the second ages later :) I love Rob Thomas' voice!

I remember you posting this image of him before, and then that music of one of his songs kept going around in my head...but I couldn't remember the title....and I still don't know the title!!!
I don't know who Rob Thomas is but that is a fun card.
Wow this is a cool card Carol. Not sure if I know Rob Thomas songs but you can bet that I will be going to find some songs to listen too. Love the music note background, the heart is perfect on the picture especially since you love this singer. Hugs, Brenda
