Faith

I recently made this card to go into a box of assorted cards that I'm making for someone. It's one of my all-time favorite stamps and I love the message it carries. I love the soft, subtle look of this Parisian Breeze designer paper and I thought it coordinated well with the sentiment.
It's cold here in PA today and they're predicting some wet snow again tomorrow *groan*. I shouldn't complain though. If I had to live with the bitter cold and snowy conditions that Heidi's endured this year, THEN I could really have something to whine about!! I hope you're warm wherever you are today. Spring isn't too far away, so I'll just wait patiently and have faith!

Papers - baja breeze, Prisma Birchtone light, Parisian Breeze
Inks - Versafine Onyx Black, unknown cube of blue pigment ink
Accessories - Martha Stewart butterfly punch, SU! taffeta ribbon, Kaiser pearl (bliss color)

Easter Bunny

I'm really having the cold weather "blahs" lately, and felt the need to create something that puts me in the mind of spring and warmer weather. I love this little bunny image from Kitchen Sink Stamps and how real he looks sitting in the grass. Hopefully it won't be long before we see those flowers popping through the soil again. Daylight Savings time is less than 2 weeks away! Yippee!!

The recipe: dsp - tea party; cs - celery, saffron; inks CTMH bamboo, caramel, cocoa, choc. chip, celery, wasabi, hunter, versafine onyx black; ribbon - pink taffeta.

Friendship Card

I love weaving ribbon, so since I'm sharing this blog with my Buddy Carol, I wanted to recreate
a card I made a couple of years ago, showing the friendship we share. This was done using 4 different colors of ribbon, woven onto a heavy black card stock, then attached to the blue cardstock. Image was watercolored, using Derwent pencils and an aquapainter.
