Hello Friend

Years ago I bought a huge 2" thick paper pad of all black and white designs for a couple dollars at Tuesday Mornings which has now sadly closed. The cover was missing so I don't know who made it, but in spite of sharing a lot of the papers, I have tons of it left along with a hefty bag of snippets. I used a couple of those snippets to make this card, adding another white snippet border done with a MS Doily punch. The butterfly die was an unbranded gift from a friend which I cut with snippets of white, red, and black and covered with glazed accents to hold all of those bits in place. The sentiment panel is an older die cut from Whimsy with a Gina K designs sentiment. For a little sparkle, I added some black Nuvo dots on the punched border.

I'm sharing this with the following challenges:

the Triple B August 2024 Challenge - Birds, Blooms, Butterflies, use 1 or all 3

with an optional theme of summertime

Thanks for the visit, and as always, I wish you the best day ever.
Carol

  3. The snippets of paper and lacy border are great to showcase the super butterfly. Lots of patience needed to infill all those tiny pieces 😊

  11. Fabulous card Carol - love the black and white with the real pop of colour from that beautiful butterfly. I have a load of MS punches, which sadly I never think to use. Memo to self - use punches more often!
