Halloween

I've been trying to use up the random bits from paper pads I've had for ages, and this card makes use of some Recollections dsp snippets in shades of black and grey. I used a MB Spider die and added some orange glaze pen drips to each of his legs and placed him over a heat-embossed sentiment done with a TH stamp and a GMD stitched die on a snippet of black. I gave the spider some eyes with a white glaze pen and a tiny black marker just for fun.

Sharing with these challenges:

Thanks for the visit and as always, I wish you a beautiful day.
Carol

  1. What a great way to use up some scraps! I am not a fan of spiders but this one is not TOO scary! Great Halloween card!

  4. Super card Carol - using one of my favourite layouts too. Love the combination of the papers you used - the jury is out about the spider purely 'cos they scare me a bit. It's very realistic - although the eyes make is a bit less sinister.

  5. Such a fun Halloween card, Carol! Love that you used the different papers for the background which is very eye catching! Your big ole spider is the perfect addition to this card along with your embossed sentiment! Great card for spooky season!

  6. An amazing use of the snippets. Cute use of the spider (if spiders can be cute). Clever dashed lines to represent the spider's silk holding up the sign.
