Spots & Stripes

I've been asked to guest design for the Allsorts challenge week #780 where Lorraine is hosting and the theme this time is "spots and stripes." If you don't have spots or stripes, there is always the anything goes option. I found these cute striped and dotted papers from an old paper pad (the cover is gone so I don't know who made them) but the image is a new one from Penny Black - a recent gift given to me by a thoughtful friend. I stamped the image and colored it with Copics and glaze pens, then die cut it with a stitched square die from MFT. The sentiment is from Mark's Finest Papers (now closed) and that panel was cut from a snippet of blue cardstock that I  matched with the little bird.  For the final touch, I added an older SU! enamel dot in the corner just for fun.

Thanks for stopping by and I'll be around to see your creations for this spots and stripes challenge (or the A/G if you prefer)

Before I go, here's a notice for the Allsort's upcoming 15th Birthday celebration. You'll want to stop by on the 18th for this event!

Have yourself a wonderful day!
Carol

The teddy bear with that little blue bird are so cute and your sweet colouring makes them pop from the red and white patterned papers! The blue banner and enamel dot are perfect to catch the eyes to the little scene! Very well done!
