Switching to Christmas

I'm shifting to Christmas for the Rudolph Days March Challenge which runs from March 25th until the end of the month.
I used a very old SSS Wishing Trees die and some green cardstock along with some Lawn Fawn stitched hillside dies to create the scene. I added a tiny red star to the top of each tree which were negatives from a star border die done in metallic red cardstock. The Merry Christmas die was done with red mirror card and a Kaiser Crafts die, and for the final touch I added a couple playful fawns cut with a Poppystamps die. Sorry for the shadows, cloudy days don't make for good photos.

A/G with an inspirational photo board

it feels like Christmas season outside today because the temperatures are quite cold this morning, so hopefully spring temperatures will get here soon. We had a teaser of them last week, but those warm days didn't last very long.
Thanks for stopping by and make it a great Monday whatever you do.

  1. None too warm here today either so it seems fitting to be looking at wintery cards. A great mix of dies used here for this super card for the Rudolph Days challenge

  3. You got clouds as well then Carol, so want to see some 'proper' Spring weather.

  4. I love the scene you've created with the snowy hills and row of pine trees! The red mirror sentiment gives it that festive look too! I'm with you on the cooler temps and hope that it evens out soon! Some of the flowers that have came up got a bit of frost, but hopefully they'll still be OK. It's VERY windy here today with rain to start soon. It will be here before you know it and then we will complain that it's hot out! LOL Wishing you sunshine my friend!

  8. Also here cold and rain again. We had a day or two of very hot sun, but it seems that it isn't yet time for Spring.
I thought that the shadows on your card were inked/coloured on purpose! :D Fabulous Christmas card, beautiful design and diecuts choice! The stylized trees look great with the tiny stars on top and the cute deers make me smile. Sadly I have no time for Christmas cards, too many challenges and a so little time!
Hugs, love and peace on your way, dear Carol!!

  14. A very nicely done Christmas card.

Thank you for the nice comments on the recent cards that I posted,
Most of the materials that I used on those cards came from a trip I made to one of our favorite stores...

Ps. Tomorrow I have an appointment to get the results from tests... I'll call after I come home from my appointment.

  15. I don't know what to comment on first. I love the trees and those teeny, shiny red stars are so sweet. The hillside you created is lovely and the tiny deer are so cute. The shine of the greeting is beautiful. Just a wonderful card all around.
