Today I have 2 Easter cards made with that cute bunny that's making himself well known around blogland. In this first card I gave his ears and face a little color before placing him atop of a big Easter egg, done with a SSS die and lots of colorful snippets. The Easter greeting is a die-cut from Echo Park done with white snippets while the grass was done with a SNSS grassy border die and a snippet of green.
For this version I used a white card base and assorted snippets of purple, lavender and other colors to create the egg. I use a blue bunny for this one and stenciled in a little blue sky.
I'm sharing the first card with the Snippets Playground#475
Thanks for stopping by and may your week be off to a great start.

Oh my favourite bunny has come out to play - the colourful Easter egg is a perfect place for him to sit
ReplyDeleteBoth cards are so cute. That is a darling bunny and versatile Easter egg.
ReplyDeleteLove your cute Easter cards and great use of snippets.

Too funny Carol - earlier today I was wondering when the Bunny would start appearing on Easter cards! My die is ready and waiting - lovely cards!

So adorable, great way to use this cute bunny!
ReplyDeleteLove your long-legged bunnies, so sweet! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteSome little critters that pop up in Blogland as trends are quickly gone, but I have a feeling this adorable sitting bunny is going to be a classic forever. I love how you have him sitting on colorful Easter eggs in both your great designs, Carol, and I admire how you were able to glue your Happy letters on without a gluey mess, especially against that deep blue! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteBoth of these Easter cards are adorable. Love the huge Easter egg die which makes such a great place for Bunny to sit.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the first card with Playmates in the Snippets Playground. See you up in the treehouse for light refreshments and maybe an early bit of Easter choccy shortly xxx
That bunny die is most adorable and cute as a button! Love the scene you created and those very colorful eggs! Super cool Easter cards, Carol!!!
ReplyDeleteThis sweet little bunny dangling his legs over the Easter egg is super cute! What a darling scene you've made for both of these designs! So perfect for Easter!
ReplyDeleteI've got that cute bunny too and have never done anything with him. You always come up with so many great ideas!
ReplyDeleteCute cards with the bunny sitting on the Easter eggs! Beautiful colors with great scenes!
ReplyDeleteI have seen this bunny sitting on the most different places, but this is the perfect one!! What better of a big Easter egg?! :D Love so much both the versions, the bold blue is very eye catching and that cloudy sky matches perfectly with the blue bunny! LOVE that big sentiment for the greetings and very well done using all those snippets!
ReplyDeleteHugs, love and warm thoughts from the far Italy!
Yep! A famous bunny, but so perfect for sitting on things, I should get him? Love you have him sitting on the eggs, both cards are wonderful and cute. Love those large eggs and sentiments too. x
ReplyDeleteTwo wonderful Easter cards. I love that we can use a die cut and mix and match papers to get several cards. This egg die cut is fantastic.
